Yew Woodland Services
I have recently (2015) purchased this machine with the idea of using it alongside my main machinery. This has not happened simply because I have become too busy to take on the extra work load. The machine has been used for only a handful of jobs, the largest of which was to clear 8 acers of scrub and gorse. This machine has really not had a hard life at all. In total this machine has done no more than 25 days work. The machine really is in like new condition. Description Professional Forestry Mulchers from Teagle. Whether reclaiming overgrown areas or managing set-aside you can be sure that in one pass material is cleanly cut and thoroughly mulched. The ECF range offers the following advantages: Reliable – robust construction ensures day-in day-out reliability Compact – to ensure manoeuvrability on slopes or in tight wooded areas Capable – at all levels from the entry level ECF/MD to the massive twin drive ECF/DT Three Key features for outstanding mulching performance 1. High Rotor Speed Rotor speeds in the Teagle range are amongst the highest in their class. This improves the ability to lift fallen material, and subsequently achieve a fine mulch against the two rows of counter blades positioned under the machine body. 2. More flails per meter A clean cut, even in heavy work – Up to 80% more flails per meter than the competition ensure that material is finely mulched, particularly in heavy work, and a fine finish is achieved, even in grass. When a foreign object comes into contact with the flail, the flail can rotate on a hardened shaft back within the cage rotor. This prevents damage to the flail or rotor and makes it suitable for use where the operator is unsure of the terrain. 3. Hydraulically adjustable rear hood The rear hood can be controlled from within the cab. When open the machine can be used to fell standing material, when lowered the fallen material can be thoroughly mulched.
